Day 1 – Arrival in İzmir / Transfer to Çeşme

Arrival at the airport, meet and greet by our representative, followed by transfer to your hotel in Çeşme. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Relax by the beach or explore the marina.

Day 2 – Full-Day Chios Island Tour (Sakız Adası)

To begin our tour, we meet at Çeşme Ulusoy Port at 08:30 AM at the latest. After a pleasant ferry journey of approximately 20–30 minutes, we arrive on Chios Island. Following passport procedures, our guide will welcome you and the island exploration begins.

Armolia Village: Our first stop is Armolia, a charming village famous for its handcrafted ceramics for centuries. Here, you will discover the island’s legendary mastic trees, from which Chios takes its unique identity. Learn fascinating facts about this natural wonder from your guide and enjoy a short visit to one of the traditional ceramic workshops.

Mesta Village: Our next destination is Mesta, one of the most remarkable villages on Chios Island. Built during the 13th–14th centuries to protect residents from pirate attacks, Mesta is a beautifully preserved medieval fortress village and often described as an open-air museum.

Walk through its narrow labyrinth-like streets, admire the solid stone houses connected by arches, and feel transported back to the Middle Ages. We also visit the impressive Taxiarchis Church, built using stones from the original defensive tower. Dating back to the early 18th century, this church is one of the largest and most important churches in Greece.

Pyrgi Village. Continue to Pyrgi, another extraordinary medieval village famous for its unique geometric black-and-white exterior decorations called Xysta. These fascinating patterns make Pyrgi truly one of a kind in the world.

Highlights include:

·         The historic tower (Pirgos) that gave the village its name

·         Agion Apostolon Church, one of the oldest Byzantine churches on Chios

·         The house believed to have hosted Christopher Columbus before his voyage to America

Pyrgi was also the historical center of mastic production, and you may find some of the freshest local products here.

Karfas Beach: Our final stop is Karfas Beach, located 7 km south of the island center and known as Chios’ most popular tourist area. With its golden sandy beach and crystal-clear waters, Karfas is perfect for relaxation.

Guests may enjoy free time for: Swimming, Sunbathing, Relaxing by the beach, Dining at traditional Greek tavernas serving fresh seafood and local specialties

After free time, we return to Chios Port and bid farewell to the island with wonderful memories before taking the ferry back.

Day 3 – Free Day for Leisure

After breakfast, enjoy a free day.

Breakfast at hotel. Spend the day relaxing at one of Çeşme’s beautiful beaches or enjoying optional activities.
