This route takes you away from the Black Sea coast and into the mountains of Gümüşhane. The area has a long history of different communities living and trading across the mountain valleys.

The main historical stop is Santa Ruins, a former Greek settlement spread across the mountains. The remains include stone houses, churches and other buildings that give an idea of how the settlements once functioned.

We continue towards Taşköprü Plateau, where there is time for a short break and photographs.

The route then passes through İmera and Krom Valley, both known for historic buildings and churches.

The final stop is Süleymaniye Historic District in Gümüşhane, where you can see old religious buildings, stone houses and other remains of the city's earlier history.
